Booking Terms and Conditions:

1. Minimum Number of Passengers:
   A minimum of 8 passengers is required per trip (no minimum is required for exclusive groups).
2. Partner Liability:
   Praya Charter partners have no responsibility, obligation, or authority over the boat’s operation. As such, they are exempt from any liability arising from our operational procedures.
3. Initial Payment:
   To secure a boat booking, an initial payment of 35% of the total package price per person (the “Initial Payment”) is required within 5 days of the booking request. This payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation for any reason but may be applied as a credit toward a future booking.
4. Booking Confirmation:
   No booking is guaranteed until the Initial Payment is confirmed.
5. Final Payment:
   The remaining balance (the “Second Payment”) must be made no later than 90 days before the boat’s departure date. Failure to make this payment by the due date will cancel the booking immediately, and the Initial Payment will not be refunded. The Initial Payment and Second Payment together constitute the “Total Payment.”
6. Force Majeure:
   The Second Payment will not be refunded in the event of natural disasters (e.g., tsunamis, earthquakes, storms, floods), or political instability.
7. Cancellation Policy:
   The Second Payment is refundable if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before the boat’s departure. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of departure, the Total Payment will not be refunded.
8. Minimum Number of Surfers:
   A minimum of 8 surfers is required for each trip. If this number is not met, customers will either be rescheduled for another date or receive a full refund of the Total Payment.
9. Use of Images:
   I authorise Praya or its partners to use my image in photos or videos, with or without commercial purposes, for promotional materials. This authorisation is granted free of charge and applies globally.
10. Travel Insurance:
    Travel insurance covering surfing activities is mandatory.
11. Mentawai Tourism Fee:
    The Mentawai tourism fee is not included in the package price.
